Aralov Volodymyr Mykolayovych (1893 - after 1970)

A famous Russian painter. In the years of 1908 1912 he studied at Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture under the tutelage of A. Vasnetsov and A. Arkhypov. Since 1913 he had participated in numerous art exhibitions and was a member of the art association Assambleya. In 1939 he joined Moscow Artists Union. His first solo exhibition was held in Moscow (1950). He mostly painted landscapes, still lifes and genre pictures. His works are stored in the Museum of History and Restoration of Moscow, the Museum-Apartment of O. Gorky, the Novosybirsk Art Gallery and others.
