A Ukrainian painter. Born in Ubla, Slovakia. During 1927 - 1931 he studied at Uzhgorod Art School. Participated in the exhibitions since 1935. He was engaged in teaching activity. In the years of 1935 - 1939 he was a member of the Association of Carpatho-Russian Artists. He lived and worked in Uzhgorod, and since 1969 in Kosice, Slovakia. Author of landscapes, still lifes and genre paintings. The works are stored in Zakarpattya Art museum n.a. Y. Bokshay, and in the art museums of Slovakia and Hungary.
