Vygzhyvalskyi Feliks (1875 - 1944)

Ukrainian and Polish painter. He studied at Munich Academy of Arts under the tutelage of L. Herterich and K. Marr, the well known graduates of the Julien Academie in Paris. After 1900 he settled in Rome, from where he moved to Lviv in 1907. Painted genre compositions, nudes, landscapes (mostly marine) and religious works. He also created sketches for stained-glass windows and was engaged in interior design and mural painting.
