Vyyezzhev Olexandr Mykolayovych (1865 - 1918)

A Ukrainian painter. Born in Kharkiv province. He studied at the Drawing School of M. Rayevskaya in Kharkiv (1870s). Since1889 he participated in the exhibitions of the Association of Itinerant Art Exhibitions, Moscow Society of Art Lovers, and Non-Party Artists Association. He worked in St. Petersburg (1900s) and Kharkiv. In 1905 and 1915 he held his solo exhibitions in St. Petersburg. Author of landscapes, portraits and genre paintings. He created a large series of the Crimea views.
