Vintenko Borys Mykhailovych (1927 - 2002)

AUkrainian painter and graphic artist. Born in the village of Oboznivka, Kirovograd region. Graduated from Odessa Drawing School in 1942. His teachers were Y. Bukovetskyi, T. Frayerman, and M. Pavlyuk. Member of regional, republican and all-Union exhibitions. He lived in Kirovograd, worked at Kirovograd art workshops, and taught at the art studios. Member of the  USSR Artists' Union since 1973. Mastero of landscape and portrait. Representative of Impressionism who invented his own, unique style of "painting that is flickering". The memorial exhibitions were held in 2002, 2007 and 2009 (all in Kirovograd). The works are kept in the art galleries and private collections in Ukraine.
