A Ukrainian painter. Born in the village of Mala Rybka, Saratov province. He got an elementary art education at Penza Art School (1940). Graduated from Kyiv Art Institute (1950). Participant of republican and all-Union exhibitions since 1949. Member of the National ArtistsХ Union (1960). Lived and worked in Donetsk. Master of portrait, landscape and genre art.
