Glattser Simon (Glatzer Simon, 1890 - 1945)

Born in Dubno. He studied at the Academy of Arts in Vilnius. In 1914 he emigrated to France. In Paris, he underwent a training at the art studio of F. Cormon in lХAcademie de la Grande Chaumiere. Fought in World War I on the side of France, Since 1920 - a French citizen. He exhibited his works at the Salons and had a great success. His solo exhibitions were held in Cleveland, Chicago, New York (1929), Johannesburg (1939). At the end of the war he lived in Aix en Provence. Almost all the works created during the Second World War have been lost.
