A Ukrainian artist, landscape painter, and master of still life. Born in Kyiv. In 1962 she graduated from Kyiv Art Institute (learned arts from V. Kostetskyi, K. Trokhymenko, S. Grigoriev), where since 1968 she had begun her teaching career. In 1984 became a professor. Honored Artist of the USSR (1966), winner of the Republican Komsomol Prize n.a. M. Ostrovskyi (1968), People's Artist of the USSR (1986), corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Arts (1988), academician of Petrovska Academy of Arts and Sciences, full-fledged member of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine, professor of the chair of painting at NAFAA. Lives and works in Kyiv.
