Old version
Grygorenko Valeriy Mykolayovych (1963)

A Ukrainian painter. He studied arts at Kyiv Art Institute. The artist held his solo exhibitions in Great Britain and the USA. In 1993 he refused the benefits of civilization and settled near Kyiv, where he entirely gave himself to the art work, having denied himself every human need and pleasure. The author follows a certain philosophy of color: he believes that gray color is the embodiment of the two opposites - black and white, and brightness and saturation of gray changes during the struggle of light and dark, life and death, good and evil in each moment of life.
