Grison Francois-Adolphe (1845 - 1914)

A French artist. Born in Bordeaux. He got his art education at Paris School of Design. In 1868 he moved to Geneva. Permanent exhibitor at the Salon (1873 - 1910), participant of the exhibition in the Glass Palace in Munich (1894), Berlin International Exhibition (1896) and numerous exhibitions in Geneva. In 1883 joined the Association of French artists. In 1885 he received the honorary diploma of the Society, and in 1890 - medal of the 3rd degree. He got recognition as the master of genre painting. He also painted portraits and still lifes. The works are stored in the art museums of Geneva, Munich, Berlin, Strasbourg and the Metropolitan Museum in New York.
