Yevreyinov Vasyl Vasylyovych (1865 - 1938)

A Russian painter. Born in Moscow. He studied at Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture since 1884. He got two small silver medals and the title of extra-class artist (1889). He made a creative journey to Italy, France, Germany (1891 - 1892). He was a permanent participant of the exhibitions at the Academy of Arts, Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, Moscow Society of Art Lovers since 1889. He was a member of Moscow Society of Art Lovers (since 1895) and of Independent union of artists (since 1912). After the revolution he was an active member of Moscow Union called "Zveno" (Link), exhibited his works at the exhibitions of the Soviet artists in Moscow (1917, 1918, 1919) and Sochi (1938). Author of portraits, landscapes and genre scenes.
