Kapustin Grygoriy (1865 - 1925)

A Ukrainian artist and landscape painter. He worked in Odessa and Feodosia, probably in the workshop of I. Aivazovskyy. His paintings were repeatedly reproduced in the pre-revolutionary leaflets. He is known as a master of forest landscapes and seascapes. His works are kept in many private collections in Ukraine, Russia, and are quite common at the auctions worldwide.
