Kashyna (Kashyna-Pamyatnykh) Nina Vasylivna (1903 - 1985)

A Russian artist, painter and graphic artist. Well known as a master of thematic paintings, landscapes, artist of books. Born in Perm. She studied at Perm Art School, during 1923 - 1930 - at the Higher state artistic and technical workshops (under the guidance of M. Kupriyanov and W. Favorskyy). Since 1928 she was a member of the artistic association called ТRostУ ("Development"). A member of the "13" group, participated in the first (1929) and the second (1930) shows of the group. She exhibited her works at the exhibition at Moscow House of Artists (1977, gouache paintings of the artist from this exhibition were acquired by the State Museum of Fine Arts), the State Tretyakov Gallery (1986), the State Russian Museum (1988); the State Museum of Fine Arts (1989), as well as she participated in the foreign exhibitions - in Budapest (1987) and Vienna (1988). She lived and worked in Moscow. Her works are kept in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the State Museum of Fine Arts, in the Art Museums of Perm, Saratov, etc.
