A Ukrainian painter and graphic artist. Born in the village of Ugry, Lviv region. In 1953 he graduated from Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (under the guidance of R. Selskyy), where he taught since 1971. Since 1956 he participated in regional, republican and all-union exhibitions. Since 1973 he was a member of the National Union of Artists. In 1990 he received the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine. He lived and worked in Lviv. His works are kept in the Art Museum of Ukraine.
