Kremnytska Elizaveta Lyudvigivna (1925 - 1978)

A Ukrainian painter and graphic artist. Born in Uzhgorod. In 1950 she became one of the first graduating students of Uzhgorod College of Applied Arts, founded by A. Erdeli and Y. Bokshay in 1945. Her pictorial manner and artistic priorities were formed under the influence of these masters - the founders of the Transcarpathian school of painting. Participant of regional, national, and all-union exhibitions since 1952. Since 1958 she regularly filed an application for the membership in the National Union of Artists and was adopted there only in 1968. Bright representative of nonconformism. She was the wife of the artist P. Bedzyr. Her works are presented in the Art Museum of Ukraine and in private collections in Russia and the Baltic States.
