Krylov Borys (1891 - 1977)

A Russian painter and stage designer. He studied in Moscow under the guidance of A. Mykhailovskyy and G. Golubkina. After the Revolution he lived in Paris. He worked at the decorations in the theatres,  painted in oil and watercolor techniques. In 1930, together with the artist O'Kleyn he organized the Salon of paintings and sculptures. He exhibited his works in the salons: Independent and HumoristsÕ, participated in group exhibitions in Buenos Aires (1928), Cambridge (1929), San Antonio (1930) and in the exhibition of the ArtistsÕ Federation (1936). He held several solo exhibitions in Paris (1931, 1935).
