Krychevskyy Mykola Vasylyovych (1898 - 1961)

A Ukrainian graphic artist, painter, theatre  artist. Born in Kharkiv. The son of V. Krychevskyy and the nephew of F. Krychevskyy. He received his general education in Kyiv. In 1919 he went to Czechoslovakia with the theatre  of M. Sadowskyy. In 1928 in Prague he graduated from the art school of industry and decor. In 1929 he went to Paris. He created the illustrations for "Taras Bulba" by M. Gogol. He participated in the exhibitions in Lviv, Paris, Warsaw, Prague, Brussels and Rome.
