Lukin Olexander (Willgelm) Ivanovych (1871 - 1941)

A Russian painter and graphic artist. He was born in Pskov. From 1889 till 1901 he studied at the Higher Art School at St. Petersburg Academy of Arts under the guidance of O. Kiselyov. After graduation he received the title of the artist (1902). Since 1908 he lived in Tomsk. He taught painting at Tomsk Institute of Teachers (1906 - 1915), Tomsk real school (1912 - 1920). Founding member of Tomsk Union of art lovers. From 1915 till 1943 he worked as an illustrator of books. Author of landscapes and still lives.
