Manaylo Fedir Fedorovych (1910 - 1978)

A Ukrainian painter and graphic artist. Born in the village of Ivanovka, Transcarpathian region. In 1934 he graduated from the Higher Arts and Crafts School in Prague. People's Artist of Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic since 1977. He studied ethnography of Transcarpathian region. Being the original master with his original artistic style, he applied the achievements of the latest trends in European art - from expressionism to surrealism. He lived and worked in Uzhgorod. His works are presented in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, in Transcarpathian Art Museum named after Y. Bokshay and in the Art Museums of Slovakia and Hungary.
