Mykyta Volodymyr Vasylyovych (1931)

A Ukrainian painter. Born in the village of Rakoshyno, Transcarpathian region. He graduated from Uzhgorod College of Applied Arts. He studied under the guidance of A. Erdeli, J. Bokshay and F. Manaylo. Member of regional, national, all-union and international exhibitions since 1950. People's Artist of Ukraine (1991). Winner of the Prize of J. Bokshay and A. Erdeli (1995) and the National Prize of Ukraine named after T. Shevchenko (2005). Since 2004 - Academician of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine. He works in the genre of portrait, landscape and still life. His works are stored in the Art Museums of Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, etc.
