Mykhailov Borys Olexandrovych (1959)

A Ukrainian painter. He was born in Vorkuta. From 1973 till 1978 he studied at the Art School of B. Ioganson in Leningrad. During his studying he was awarded the Honorary Diploma of the 1st degree of the Academy of Arts of the USSR. From 1978 till 1984 he studied at the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in the studio of monumental painting of the Professor A. Mylnykova, during 1987 - 1990 at the graduate school of the creative studios of the Academy of Arts of the USSR in Kyiv under the guidance of S. Gryhoryev. Since 1985 he has been living in Kyiv. Member of the National Union of Artists since 1986. His numerous solo exhibitions were held in Kyiv and Geneva, and also in Leningrad (1983) and Bern (2000). He works in various genres. His works are presented in Kyiv National Museum of the Russian Art, in the National Museum of Taras Shevchenko in Kyiv, in the Art Galleries of Ismail and Sozopol (Bulgaria), etc.
