Mitkovskyy Ivan Sergiyovych (1872 -?)

A Ukrainian artist. Born in Poltava province. Belonged to the family of the small gentry of modest means. For some time he studied at the private art studio. He painted landscapes and still lives. A characteristic feature of his works is a quiet admiration for the nature, a sense of unity with the outside world. The information about the artist is lost during the First World War. His works are kept in the museums and private collections of Ukraine and Russia.
