Obolensky Mykola Mykolayovych (1838 - 1899)

A Russian artist, landscape painter. A descendant of Prince Ivan Mykhailovych. Cavalry officer, and later the Chief of the traffic on the railroad. He started his artistic work as a graphic artist and illustrator. He repeatedly participated in the art exhibitions. In 1890s he collaborated with Y. Klever. Author of numerous paintings. His works are kept in many private collections in Russia and Ukraine.
