A Ukrainian painter. From 1930 till 1934 he studied at Kharkiv Institute of Art, later in Kyiv Institute of Art under the guidance of F. Krychevskyy and S. Grygoriev. He took an active part in various exhibitions. Member of the Artists' Union of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic since 1945. Since 1990 - Honored Artist of Ukraine. His works are kept in private collections of Ukraine and abroad.
