Holodovskyy Mykhailo Ivanovych (1855 - 1926)

A Ukrainian artist, landscape painter; he painted mostly Ukrainian landscapes. He lived and worked in his estate in the suburbs of Lubny. Since 1914 - Member of the Union of artists from Kyiv. He participated in the shows of the Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions, St. Petersburg Academy of Arts, etc. Many postcards based on the master's works were printed. The landscapes of the artist were highly valued by the well-known art critic V. Stasov.
