Hoef Abraham van der (1611/12 - 1649)

A Dutch painter, made a significant contribution into the development of the battle genre. He worked in the Delta, Leiden, Harlem. The battles of the master performed in a professional manner, distinguished author's vivid originality of manner. His works are stored in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, in the Museum of Fine Arts in Tallinn, the State Museum of Fine Arts, the Hermitage, etc.
