Chupryna Mykola Petrovych (1928 - 2000)
A Ukrainian painter, author of landscapes, still lives, genre paintings. Born in the village of Korsun, Donetsk region. He graduated from Kharkiv Art School namd after M. Samokysh, Kharkiv Institute of Art (studied under the guidance of O. Shaposhnykov, E. Egorov, L. Chernov). Since 1956 he lived and worked in the Crimea. Member of the National Union of Artists since 1960. Honored Artist of the Crimea. In 1990 was presented to the title of the Honored Artist of Ukraine, but did not receive it through the lost documents during the collapse of the Soviet Union. One of the best works of the artist, "The Portrait of the wife" (1959), is preserved in the Louvre.
