Shelyuto Mykola Andriyovych (1906 - 1984)

A Ukrainian painter. Born in the village of Gluhivka, Gomel region. In 1931 he graduated from Odessa Art Institute, where he studied under the guidance of P. Volokydin, V. Zauze and D. Kraynev. Since 1936 he participated in the exhibitions. From 1939 till 1951 he taught at Odessa Art Institute. His personal exhibitions took place in Odessa (1950, 1956, 1987). Honored Artist of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic since 1958. He lived and worked in Odessa. Master of landscape and still life. His works are stored in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, Odessa Art Museum and in many others.
