Jozefczyk Zygmunt (1881 - 1966)

A Polish artist. He studied at the Jagiellonian University, from 1909 till 1910 he was a student of L. Vychulkovskyy in Krakow Academy of Arts. For some time he lived in Lviv. He was a friend of Ivan Trush, who had great influence on his work. From 1911 till 1914 he exhibited his works at the National Gallery of Art "Zahenta" (Warsaw), in 1921 in the House of Plastic Arts (Krakow) and in 1926 he participated in the exhibitions of the Union of plastic arts in Poland. He painted portraits, landscapes and genre scenes of animalistic motives. His works are kept in the national art museums of Warsaw and Krakow.
