A Dutch painter. He was born in Meppel, the Netherlands. He studied under the guidance of the painter A. Idserd in Geneva. In 1930 he participated in the exhibitions of the creative association Arti et Amicitiae in Amsterdam. He traveled a lot to Europe, painted mainly landscapes.
