Lomykn Kostyantin Matvyovich (1924 - 1993)

A Ukrainian graphic artist and painter. Born in the town of Glukhv, Sumy region. In 1951 he graduated the art school of Odessa, where he was taught by L. Muchnik, M. Shelyuto, M. Pavlyuk. He had been the member of the Artists’ Union of Ukrainian Soviet Republic since 1953. He had been the Honored Art Worker of Ukrainian Soviet Republic since 1971. He lived and worked in Odessa. He is the author of subject paintings, works of genre art and landscapes. His works are presented in the museums of art in Odessa, Simferopol, Dnepropetrovsk, etc.
