Bozhko Nina Grygorivna (1928)

A Ukrainian artist. Born in Kyiv. She graduated from Kyiv Art School (1949) and Kyiv Institute of Art (1956), her teachers were I. Pleschynskiy and V. Kasian. She has been the participant of municipal, republican, all-union and international exhibitions since 1956 and a member of the Artists' Union of Ukrainian Soviet Republic since 1958. She has been the Honored Artist of Ukraine since 1993. She got the title of People's Artist of Ukraine in 2009. She lives and works in Kyiv. She works successfully in the fields of poster, book illustration, graphic easel arts and painting. She is considered the master of still life, landscape, portrait and theme picture. Her works are presented in numerous Art Museums of Ukraine.
