A German artist, animal painter. Born in Greding, Germany. Since 1919 he lived in Munich, where he studied under the guidance of the well-known animal painters H. von Hayek and F. Rott. He gained great popularity as a master of paintings depicting cats. His works are kept in numerous private collections in Germany, France, Austria, etc.
