Mycielski Jan Kazimierz (1864 - 1913)

A Polish painter and graphic artist. Born in Poland. He did military service at the University of Halle in Munich. He studied in Munich Academy of Arts (1885 - 1888) and at the School of Fine Arts in Krakow (1890). He often travelled through Italy and in the recent years of his life he lived and worked in Florence. In 1897 there was held his solo exhibition in the main salon of Warsaw "Zahenta" In 1918 there was a large retrospective exhibition in the salon of the Association of Artists in Poznan. He painted still lives and landscapes. His works are kept in the National Museum in Poznan, in the Museum in Leszno (Poland), etc.
