Warun-Sekret Eugen von (1896 - 1963)

A Russian artist of abroad. She lived and worked in the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. She was a member of the group of the Russian artists together with I. Dykyy, B. Obrazkov, M. Meyyendorf, etc. During 1922 - 1927 she participated in copying the paintings from the ancient Serbian churches. In 1934 together with M. Meyyendorf, V. Shevtsov, V. Bychkovskyy she decorated St. Andrew’s palace chapel on Dedinye in Belgrade. Participant of the exhibitions in Belgrade: the Russian artists (1924), the Russian and Serbian artists in the hotels "Paris" and "Cleridge" (both - 1925), the Union of the Russian artists in the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (1928). She painted genre scenes and landscapes.
