Blanchard Georges-Aime (1900 - 1972)

A French painter. Born in Bordeaux. In 1920 he graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Bordeaux, then for some time he studied at Paris Academy of Arts. In the 1930s he traveled to Algeria and Morocco. During 1940 - 1962 he lived in the United States, then he returned to France. He painted landscapes, still lifes, genre scenes, nudes. His works are kept in museums and private collections of France and the USA.
