Kozyk Victor Grygorovych (1937)

A Ukrainian painter. Born in Kyiv. In 1965 he graduated from Kyiv Institute of Art, where he studied under the guidance of V. Kostestkyy, K. Trokhymenko, V. Zabashta. Participant of numerous exhibitions since 1964. Member of the Artists' Union of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic since 1970. In the 1990s he participated in the painting of St. Michael's Cathedral in Kyiv, Pokrovska Church in Sevastopol, etc. Winner of the Triennale Award "Painting-98". His personal exhibitions were held in Kyiv (1996, 2003, 2001), Moscow (2004), Croatia (2009). He works in the genres of landscape and portrait painting. His works are exhibited in the National History Museum of Ukraine in Kyiv, Kyiv History Museum, in the Art Museums of Uzhgorod, Mykolayiv, Sevastopol, in the Livadia Palace and the Authorities' office of the arts exhibitions in Moscow.
