Harders Johannes (1871 – 1950)
German painter. Born in Kellenhauzen, Germany. He received his primary art education under the guidance of famous German marine painter M. Jensen. In the early 1890s he studied at the Düsseldorf Academy of Fine Arts,. Contributed to exhibitions of the Union of artists of Rhineland and Westphalia (1890 - 1893). Later he moved to Hamburg, where he lived and worked all his life. He was famous as a master of seascapes. He often painted Hamburg harbor views and Norwegian fjords. Works are kept in the museums and private collections in Germany.
