Henry James Levine (1855 - 1929)

British painter, landscape painter. Born in London. He studied under the guidance of artists: J. Buxton Knightin London, W. Bouguereau in Paris and H. van der Hecht in Brussels. He made creative journeys to France, Belgium and the Netherlands. In 1877 - 1919 he participated in exhibitions of the Royal Society of British Artists and Cornwall Society of Artists. Lived and worked in London. His works are kept in museum collections of Manchester and Rochester (both - UK).
