Anglade Gaston Vincent (1854 -1919)

A French painter. Born in Bordeaux. From 1872 till 1874 he studied under the guidance of the artist L.-J. Pelouze. His works wete exhibited at numerous Parisian salons: Independent and Autumn. He gained fame as a master of landscape Limousin and Aquitaine with flowering valleys. He lived and worked in Paris and Bordeaux. Many landscapes of the master were reproduced in magazines and published in the form of postcards. His works are kept in the Museum of Fine Arts in Bordeaux and in other Art Museums of France.
