Van Ryn Guielmus (II half XVII - beg. XVIII)

A Flemish painter, representative of Antwerp school of painting. He studied at Antwerp Academy of Arts. From 1694 till 1709 he was a member of the painters' guild of St. Luke in Antwerp. He travelled through France and Germany. He painted landscapes, genre and hunting scenes. He gained fame as a master of battle painting. His works are kept in the Art Museums of Belgium and the Netherlands.
