Cramm Helga von (1840 1919)

The German and Swiss painter, watercolorist, graphic artist. Occurred from a well-known aristocratic dynasty, had the title of baroness. Since 1878 participated in art exhibitions. Was friends with the English poet F. R. Heyvergal in 1879 - 1880 illustrated collections of her poems. In 1880, a series of artist's chromolithographs with alpine views. She lived and worked in the city of Saint-Maurice (Switzerland). In 1880 - 1892 traveled a lot to Italy, in 1884 lived in Florence. Created a great series of marinas, revealing the beauty of the north-western coast of Italy. Often visited Germany, where she became known as a master of delicate watercolors.
