Zatsepina Zinaida Illivna (1913 - 1986)
A Ukrainian artist, painter. Born in the settlement called New Kalytva, now Voronezh region. During 1933 - 1936 she studied at Tambov Art College, from 1937 till 1939 - at Penza Art School under the guidance of S. Horyushkin-Sorokopudov. In 1948 she graduated from Kyiv Institute of Art (the course of O. Shovkunenko, K. Yeleva). She taught at the art schools in Penza (1938 - 1939), Kyiv (1940 - 1941), Krasnodar (1941 - 1942). Participant of republican, all-union and international exhibitions since 1949. Her solo exhibitions were held in India (1959), Kyiv (1977) and Penza (1979). Since 1945 she lived and worked in Kyiv. She was the wife of the artist P. Sulymenko. Author of portraits, landscapes, still lives and genre paintings. Her works are stored in the National Art Museum of Ukraine and the Art Museums of Odessa, Poltava, Mykolaiv, Simferopol.
