Sydoruk Volodymyr Fedorovych (1925 - 1997)
A Ukrainian painter, graphic and theater artist. Born in Rzhyshchiv, Kyiv region. From 1939 till 1941 he studied at the Republican art school under the guidance of I. Hvorostetskyy, Y. Kyyanchenko. In 1945 he settled in Stanislav, where he worked as the head of the decorative studio and the producer of Stanislavsky Music and Drama Theater of I. Franko. He took an active part in regional and national exhibitions, held more than ten personal ones. In 1950 he moved to Irpen in connection with the invitation to join Kyiv cooperative union of artists. He painted paintings commissioned by numerous museums. In 1957 he entered the Union of artists of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. Honored Artist of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic (since 1980). In 1995 in the Ukrainian House in Kyiv there was held a great jubilee exhibition of the artist. Author of landscapes, thematic pictures, portraits and still lives. His works are presented in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, Ivano-Frankivsk Aer Museum, Yerevan Art Gallery, etc.
