Johannes Reekers Jr. (1824 - 1895)
A Dutch painter. Born in Brussels. He belongs to the famous dynasty of artists - masters of still lifes with flowers, fruits, and hunting trophies. He studied at Haarlem Academy of Arts under the guidance of his father J. Reekers and older brother H. Reekers. Since 1846 he participated in the exhibitions in Haarlem, Amsterdam and Brussels. His works are presented in the museums of the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany.
